- You can find it at the top of the DAW between two tracks. You may need to zoom in for it to appear.
- You can click the Save icon to create your own presets
Tempo
- The tempo automation lane is visualized under each track, but it behaves like a single master tempo.
- During a transition, any breakpoint added will be mirrored on both tracks.
- You can think of it like a single master tempo lane that is visually split between all the tracks
Navigating
Playlist

- Click here to navigate to a transition
- This works during playback. The playhead will jump to the transition you select and continue playing.
Track Names

Beat Grid
Setting Downbeat

Nudge
- If the grid is slightly off, use the arrow buttons in the right rail to nudge the grid. This also works during playback.
BPM

- Place the playhead at the start of the downbeat and press the [SET] button. The grid will be recalculated based off the correct BPM. Your input will be taken into account, and the BPM will be updated slightly from your guess if it finds a closer match.
FX
Adding Effects
- Click Add Effects in the right rail
- All of the effects from popular mixers are available
SEM Filter
- The SEM Filter is an analog-modeled filter from a famous synth design.
FX Parameters
- Adding an FX will create a new automation lane to control wet/dry
- On that FX automation lane, you will find a [>] expand button that will expose a further set of parameters.
Managing FX
- FX can be rearranged, bypassed, and removed in the right rail.
Gain
- The signal path for gain looks like this: Trim > Volume > Track Gain > Mastering Gain
Trim
- Trim is an FX that can be added in the effects section. This is equivalent to the Trim on a mixer.
- This is primarily used when opening a recording from DJ Decks.
Volume
- The volume automation lane is equivalent to the faders on the mixer.
- This automation lane is always present.
Track Gain
- In the right rail you will find a track gain.
- This gain happens after the volume gain.
- It's used in conjunction with the LUFS meter to bring the entire level of the track, along with any automations, up and down in level to create an even set.
- You can use the up and down keyboard keys to increase or decrease.
- Command + Up/Down moves in smaller increments
- The track gain does not have an automation lane.
- Track gain is defaulted to -6db to give headroom to work with. Electronic music is mastered as loud as possible, which does not leave headroom for mixing two mastered tracks together. The 6db is added back in the Master Gain.
Mastering Gain
- The mastering gain is located in the top right.
- It's the last gain in the signal path and is defaulted to 6db to make up for the -6db of the Track Gain.
- This may need to be lowered if you are hitting the limiter too hard.
Listening/Monitoring Volume
- At the top right of the window is a volume slider.
- This control does not impact the final export of the set. It's only there to control the listening or monitoring volume as you work.
EQs
- A 4-band eq is available by default
- Right click on a lane to switch this to a 3-band EQ
