Why isn't the CDJ Connecting?
Assuming that everything was connected accordingly, it takes one minute and 14 seconds for the setup to resolve on the network.

Why isn’t the Mixer connecting?
The midi button must be pressed on the mixer AND a fader or knob must be moved to send midi data.

The mix does not show up after recording.
There are several factors that could cause this, all related to the network. Make sure:
1. There's no active VPN that could interfere with the ethernet connection.
2. There is no firewall or antivirus blocking Density from connecting to the ethernet.
3. You have allowed Density to access Local Network when you first opened "Record Live". This is a modal that is being requested once. If you denied it, you can go to:
- System Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Local Network -> Density and make sure the toggle is ON for Density.
Does it work with Xone mixers?
No. Unfortunately, Xone did not fully MIDI map the mixer, so there is nothing for us to capture.
Does it record audio?
No. It only records track metadata, cues, loops, and mixer data. When the DJ opens it in the Density DAW, they will be asked to point to their DJ folder. This will populate the audio files in the DAW.
Does it record effects?
Yes.
How do I get the recordings?
When you are done capturing, the DAW will show you the recordings.
What if multiple DJs played?
The recording is automatically split into different sets for each DJ. It also handles Back to Back sets.
